In June of I994 the Lord blessed my family and I with the opportunity to serve this grow­ing congregation as the senior pastor. During the past several years we have been blessed in seeing many saved, sanctified, filled with the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and many have testified of God's healing power. We have seen our Sunday School and worship attendance, as well as other ministries of the church, double in attendance. We have been able to complete the building of a new sanctuary, and the renovation of the old sanctuary into a Christian Education wing. We have been able to purchase three houses, and five lots around us, to help with the need for expansion of our parking lot and for future building.
 

In March of 2000 we were able to pay off the entire debt of the church, leaving us in a position to begin plans for a multipurpose building that will serve the church in a number of ways. The first phase of the building program called for completion of the kitchen, stage, and restroom facilities so that it could be used as a fellowship hall and for banquets, plays, youth programs, etc. The second phase of the building program called for the completion of classrooms so that it could be used for Sunday School and Wednesday night youth meetings. The Lord has blessed us to be able to complete both stages of this multipurpose building and have our Grand Opening of the Sunday School rooms on March 31, 2002. The dedication for this building was held Sunday, April 28, 2002. The building is designed in a way that all the congregation will enjoy the use of this facility.

Our Mission Statement for the church is that the members of the church become greater disciples for Christ, which includes winning the lost and helping those that we win to become dis­ciples for the Lord. We do this through corporate worship and by offering the following ministries: Sunday School, Children's Church, Nursery, Wednesday Night Youth (ESB), Senior Friends Ministries, Men's Ministries, Women's Ministries, Prison Ministries, Nursing Home Ministries, and Local Church Mission Ministries. Under each of these ministries are several other ministries and outreaches that we encourage you to get acquainted with.

As we look ahead, we see only great things for the future, for God is continuing to give both direction and promises. There is continued excitement and enthusiasm, eagerness and antic­ipation of what God will do next. We thank God for the exuberant number of people that He is blessing us with.

We believe that our worship services are filled with the anointing to sing, to pray, to teach, and to preach! It is certainly an honor of mine to be a part of what God is doing, at the Empire Pentecostal Holiness Church!
